If there is one thing that Johann Zarco is confident about is that the Honda RC213V is strong and the result on the MotoGP tests at Qatar doesn’t show the bike’s potential.
The rider spoke exactly about it while saying he is having fun aboard the bike: ‘The position doesn’t reflect our real potential, but it’s been an interesting test. We’ve tried many items, and I’ve enjoyed the laps on the bike, which is important’.
P9 on day 1 and P17 on the day 2, the french, who last year rode with Pramac Racing also said that he is happy with the way the manufacturer is working, and gave them a word of praise: ‘These days have been useful to see which areas need to improve, and I like how Honda is working so far. Finally, I want to thank the team for their job’.
On the first day he ended 0.592s off the fastest on track, and in the second he finished 1.210s away, on both days from Francesco Bagnaia.
